An MSP owner stands in his own business, reflective, with his small team behind him

For owners

Exploring Your Next Chapter?

FlexPath is built by owners who want the depth of a larger company without handing over the name, the team, or the clients.

Why owners talk to us

Why Owners Reach Out

Most owners we talk to aren’t ready yet, and that’s usually the better time to start.

People come at this from different directions. Some are looking at a security and compliance burden that keeps growing and can’t see how to staff for it. Some have a team they feel responsible for and no plan for stepping back. Some are just tired of being the only person who can answer certain questions. Very few want to do anything this quarter. We’d still rather talk now than in two years.

Your team stays

Your People, Your Reputation

We look at the business, but most of the conversation is about the people and the reputation, because those break easily and rebuild slowly.

The process

How the Conversation Goes

Four steps at your pace, and any of them a fine place to stop if it isn’t right.

A Conversation With An Owner

The first call is with one of the three founders, not a corporate deal team, and it’s confidential.

An Honest Read

If it’s obviously not a fit we’ll say so on that first call rather than run you through a process.

A Structure That Suits You

Some companies join outright, others with the owner keeping a stake and staying involved. Your timeline sets the shape.

A First Year With Few Surprises

The back office moves first, standards follow your replacement cycle, and client-facing change comes last and stays small.

Common questions

Common Questions

Answered the way we’d answer them on a call, which is to say plainly.

What happens to my name?

The default is that it stays, and it has every time so far. The endorsement reads “a FlexPath company.”

What happens to my team?

They stay yours, and so does the culture. Where we push, it’s to invest in them rather than reshape them.

Do I have to sell everything?

No. Full and partial arrangements both exist, and which one fits depends on the business and what you want your role to be.

How long does this take?

As long as you want it to. There’s no schedule on our side forcing a particular answer by a particular date.
